I think you might be lost in translation here Fricks. Like you pointed out "we don't know his financial situation..." so my opinion was based on the timepieces he already owns, i wasn't judging nor doubting.

You got plenty of dough to acquire some of the most beautiful/complicated/difficult to find/out of reach timepieces for many of us here but you're struggling to finance the purchase of a Patek 5970 thus asking publicly if you should sell a considerable part of your awesome collection to fund your ne

the 5146G slate dial wins, but in terms of classic & conservative look as mentioned by others then the cream dial all the way...though i'd pick a rose gold case for that one, just my opinion! Mine...
