Harry Winston: The old Excenter--all day long, and thrice (or even 4 times) on Sunday

Rolex: Just a guess, as I didn't see the event...

but probably a Day-Date II in platinum, most likely with the famous "Glacier" dial. The Day-Date (original and II) are the flagship of the Oyster Perpetual lineup, and particularly so in full platinum---I see no reason why Rolex would miss the chance to advertise it in a big match like that. Rolex: What a great post! Your thoughts on the 16570 are well worth reading.

I owned the black dialed version of this for a time (I've almost always had one or another Oyster Professional model as my "daily beater" watch), and it was one of my favorite modern Rolex watches. It was replaced by the one I currently have (14060M Submariner), but my affection for the Explorer II
