Jaeger-LeCoultre: the problem is not the repair time but luck of information

Thanks for your reply! For me the main issue and major reason for the frustration is the lack of information feedback. If anybody told me up front that it will take 8 weeks to repair the watch and they would give me some kind of information in between that would be really great. Can you wind your al

Jaeger-LeCoultre: thank you Nicolas

Thanks for your reply. Seems I have to wait another 4 weeks for the watch. The most frustrating part is the lack of information from the company. If they told me how long it will take, what they are doing to it etc. - that would really go a long way in customer satisfaction. I have send a request to

Jaeger-LeCoultre: how long to repair a watch at JLC?

It has been a few weeks now that Stephanie from the JLC Boutique has send my watch to the Service Center and after that I have not received any news regarding the repair time, problems etc. I am getting a little nervous and I am not really happy with the information update provided to me from the Se

Jaeger-LeCoultre: really strange

mine is a 8xx number and doesn't glow - at least not good enough for me. No way it would still glow after a week like yours. Since my NSA broke already I am wearing my Omega Planet Ocean again and this one really glows - no comparison with the NSA, not even close. Maybe I am just expecting too much

Jaeger-LeCoultre: dark after only a few hours

Maybe you got a newer 2010 model with a better SuperLuminova C3 instead of C1? Mine must the the old C1 model and doesn't glow longer than a few hours. I have read on another web site that JLC improved the SuperLuminova for a better material in 2010 because the Navy Seals testing the watches did com

Help Desk: Hong Kong doesn't offer discounts

I just returned from a visit to Hong Kong and none of the stores I have seen offered any discounts. Maybe the "cheaper" brands they do but generally the U.S. has better prices than Hong Kong. No idea about Japan though. Singapore was nicer to shop for a watch and the prices were better too. All the

Jaeger-LeCoultre: AD in Singapore

Singapore has a BIG selection of watches and during our recent vacation I looked at many different time pieces in various stores. There is no selection of any kind where I live, the few JLC watches or other brands are 9 hours round trip by car away and they only have very view time pieces to look at

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Send the watch to Beverly Hills

The agent from Singapore arranged a contact with Stephanie from the Beverly Hills boutique. I have send the watch to her already. She seems to be very nice and helpful. I told her that I would like to get a new watch and no repair since its only 2 weeks old and I feel a repaired watch has not the sa

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Hope you are right

When I purchased the watch I did not pay attention to the reflections on the glass. I would assume in this price range that a reflective coating should be the norm since I have cheaper time pieces which have coatings on the inside and outside. Therefore I did not even think about it. If nothing happ
