Get in touch as soon as the piece starts it’s journey and ask them what documents they think will be required. Sometimes they ask for things from you (for example proof you already own it, if it’s coming back from service) or from the seller etc. In my experience, even mainstream, curriers are happy
Triple split’s existence. I’ve long considered the double split my grail watch, but knowing that the triple split exists has dampened that feeling. From a value for money perspective, a DS can be had for less than half the money for a TS (if you can find one) but is it half the watch? I don’t think
Design cases and straps in such a way that a watch can be worn comfortable with movement side up!! I have been lucky enough to handle a PLM with the fusee and chain. It’s a wonderful sight and a joy to wind.
I have a first generation datograph and have always been thinking about the double split. Flying under the radar between the datograph and now the triple split. My main issue is wearability at 43mm, but I have never tried it on. Let us know what you think!!
