Patek Philippe: 5296 would be spot on

Check out the non-sector dial in pink gold - in my opinion, it is about as perfect and classis as you can get in the Calatrava line (has the date function which is handy) and is beautiful!

Rolex: Great post that point out the cross roads of Rolex...

...ultimately, these last changes will pretty much mark the full change of the Rolex line. As your post stated, many people rushed to buy the last of the Sea Dwellers and I followed along - luckily I was able to get a V series. As these forums are all about info and opinions, I will respectfully exp

Patek Philippe: Very classy

I have the same watch but in yellow gold. It is, IMHO, the best looking Gondolo with just enough detail to make it stand out among the others. Enjoy it!!

Vacheron Constantin: Beautiful

Did you really mean 12 to 16 months or weeks? What the heck would they be doing to it over the course of 12+ months? Just curious as it seems like an incredible amount of time to work on the watch.

Blancpain: A real beauty

Great watch. I recently sold the triple calendar moonphase Villeret - also a beautiful watch but sadly I've not had a great experience with the BP service center in the US, so I decided to trade it away while it's relatively new and worth more to someone else and before I required a real and complet

I had a similar experience with th

Horological Meandering: I agree with you Jack

...you're right, it's total BS to accept "that things happen" and I'm not an advocate of it, just highlighting that, unfortunately, things do indeed happen. I own several Rolexes and, generally, the quality has been great and consistent (believe it or not I purchased an new GMT and a few months late

Horological Meandering: Had a similar experience with a Blancpain Moonphase

I can totally understand your anger and frustration. I had a similar experience recently with a Blancpain Villeret Moonphase. There was lint underneath the caseback and the dial was slightly crooked. I've read other comments stating that these things can happen with any and all watch brands, so I gu

Piaget: Very classy

Congrats - your Altiplano has the perfect combination of elegance and simplicity and rose gold will look good today, tomorrow and 100 years from now. Enjoy it in good health!
