I wanted a bit of "pop" in mine.

I ll join in with the wrist shots...I love mine and completely understand why they are honored. Here is mine on the new strap (which Richard and Maria sent to me gratis, very generously). What do you think? Really brings out the "sport" in the watch!

Speake Marin. By all accounts a wonderful guy with a unique style and perspective but the watches just don't do it for me.

It activates the dopplechronograph (ie. "split second") function whereby a second "hidden" second hand continues its revolution around the watch while the orange second hand remains stationary. Pressing the the 10 o'clock pusher again will reunite the two hands seamlessly. It really is a fun complic

I feel lucky to own it! I switch between the orange strap and the blue standard one. My dad also has a white enamel dial triple date moonphase, which he really enjoys. We went together to get my Dopplechrono and he decided he needed one too. I, too, am pondering my next one...
