thank you guys for the feedback, very costly for 28.5 months( warranty expired) in use. I'll follow some of the advises, bring it to some local handyman to try the repair or use it as a storage box. cheers

PP winder comes with 5140(bought end Dec 07) stopped, brought it to my AD and I was told PPHK isn't able to fix it and have to send to Switzerland for repair( replacement probably) at USD 1,800. Justify to pay the amount for repair or I should just use other winders available ?
