Horological Meandering: Very rare, indeed.

i wonder what this move does in terms of H Moser's brand perception? It is kind of contradictory to say "very rare" and then offer easily mass produced products.

Horological Meandering: Is the smart watch merely a transient state?

What must be considered when evaluating the push by Apple, Google, etc into the watch arena and the ensuing threat to all incumbent manufacturers, is whether the smart device in wrist watch form is just the next phase in the evolution of smart devices. From desktop computer to laptop to handheld to

Seiko: Some thoughts on high-end Seiko...

I share your sentiments with respect to the somewhat confusing strategy employed for their high end lines: GS, Ananta, Credor, Galante. To my mind, the presence of so many sub-brands adds unnecessary complication to international distribution and retail of the product; add to this there are Japan do

Horological Meandering: Very interesting...Thanks for posting, Ken.

It was mentioned that part of the reason for undertaking this project was to initiate increased promotion of the Shizuku-Ishi brand. Does this mean that there are future plans for a more accessible watch collection bearing the name Shizuku-Ishi?

Horological Meandering: Thank you for this post...

I have always been a big fan of the higher-end Japanese domestic market Citizen watches. Might have to pick up that purple lacquer Eco-Drive Campanola one of these days.
