Looks like it weather time well. Is it a Santos Octagon or Santos Ronde. Was not sure how to classify it started with "Santos Octagon".

Just checked and it does appear to be which makes more sense and the Ronde would be round. Duh... PS is Rolex world that would be a Crazed dial which some people consider a plus. But it only is visible at an angle not head on.

Had a look at my first cartier

after ten years in storage....bought it some thirty five plus years ago....and noticed the craquelure Quite shocked as this has never happened to any of my watches,older or younger It's only obvious at some light angles,otherwise appears normal Watch was

Cartier Santos Octagon

Mid 80's Santos, cracked face
