I think the Suwa dials were standard on the Japanese domestic market watches (the ref 6306) which was only in existence for maybe 4 years based on what I've read (76-80). [This could be incorrect, if someone knows please correct me]. By contrast the 6309
On the wrist today is a 6306 (6306-704L T is the precise text under the 6 marker) with a “Suwa dial” (indicating the watch was made in the Seiko Suwa factory in Japan). I think this text was seen only on the “Suwa dials” but I’m not certain. This referenc
