I realize you changed the case to 1008. Did you keep the original case. I am curious to know the serial range to get a feel for the year. Or the caseback that would have a date stamp. Seems it could be between 1963 and 1964. Previous model seen was 1964 w

And now, something different: Rolex Zephyr, Ref 1008.

The 1008 was born somewhere in the 50's and was produced till the late 60's, early 70's. Here is a two-tone I could take in picture some weeks ago. On its papers, And now some ads... 34 mm case. They don't do it like this anymore... Best, Nicolas
