After 18 years, finally managed to get a Rolex Ref 1655 mk 5 with box and papers from Hong Kong. Watch was from the year 1981 but only sold in 1984.

I was always confused by this watch, although much like an Explorer, is there some significance to the numbering 3,6,9 of the hours and the 10,20,25 etc etc that has to do with AirKIng and flying or is it merely a design choice instead of a practical (too
