PAM 425

At first I thought it may be a 449 with gold hands but the inscription between the lugs confirms it is a 425. The only documented example I can think of is the prototype presented at the SIHH, which didn't have the pig on its dial. It would be amazing if

PAM 425

...with an S.L.C. (the one you call torpedo is, in reality, a Siluro a Lenta Corsa=SLC) I've watched the UTUBE video and still have no idea as to where he found the model he's featuring in his presentation. Also he mentioned that the PAM425 comes with a S

News flash: Panerai Radiomir Eilan PAM 1243.

45 mm case, a special dial which makes us think of the good old decks on the boats, a manual winding movement and a nicely decorated case back. Cool strap, too. LE of 449 pieces. Best, Nicolas

Panerai PAM 373. The Tribute to the very first Panerai watch, the Ref 2533.

and has 2 fundamental differences (apart from the actual metal): 1) It has no "maiale" on the dial. 2) It has a spectacular tobacco dial. The 373 is, by far, my favourite remake of the original 2533 model and the 449, would be on my wrist if I were a "Non

May I introduce my beauty in the pamily?

I should have mentioned it. I bought the 616 from a paneristi friend . He owns as well the 508 and they were a bit too simuliar for him. So the 449 is his watch . It’s as well a nice. You know how much I like my 721. So nothing can currently endanger it.

Almost 5 years with my 372

On a Di Stefano strap. This was the closest I could find to the straps on the WW2 issued watches. Your 372 looks great!

Ocean swim with Panerai

Team, Today I competed in the Bondi to Bronte ocean swimming race in Sydney. However, due to weather conditions at Bronte Beach the course was changed to a 2km Bondi Beach only swim. How does this relate to watches? I wore my PAM449! I knew the swim was g

Some pictures of a PAM 685...

any fundamentalist/purist does not discriminate between Radiomir and Luminor. They like ALL vintage Panerai model FIRST then, and only then, have preferences. The 3646, 2533 derivatives, such as 232, 249, 449 (and other such references) etc are on top of

What next?

232, 249, 448, 449 all of which are 47mm Radiomirs, my choice would lean towards the PAM210. It has few advantages over the bigger models. It's a 45mm (no monster to be strapped to the wrist unless YOU choose it). It has a quintessential 3-6-9-12 Panerai
