Gone, but never forgotten

One of my favorite Offshores, the 25770. This one was serviced, and at my request, the date shroud changed to silver, and the rubber parts black. IMO, it should have been made like this originally.

My 15300 was a white dial steel bracelet.

I only have a few photos, all on bracelet. The one I preferred on strap was the 39mm Royal Oak Chrono. Here was the 15300 with a 217: This was my favorite model to play with. I wore it mostly on OEM rubber, but here is the Tour Auto. I later custom ordere

The End of Days is a legend. Not just for AP, but for all horology.

Yes, I think you can still get the strap. I have one brand new and the one I wore on my 25770. Waiting to reacquire one of these at some point. I think I also have the heralded AP Singapore hornback or whatever we called that years ago (black with yellow

More charm and soul on the original, no doubt. Truth be told, this is not an LE in the normal AP way.

It appears to be just new combination of materials and colors, limited in production. I think it looks fantastic. But it is not in the vein of a RBII, JPM, Survivor, etc. Of course, we could almost say the same on the original, which was a 25770 variant,

A few more shots of the new Royal Oak Offshore EoD II

Numerals sure would be interesting, and different dial guilloche. Still, it is a very compelling version of Royal Oak Offshore, and a reasonable tribute to the original End of Days 25770. And for good measure, the original:

Excellent post. I have contemplated how to reply...

Just 1 favorite? GULP. I can't do it!! (ironically, while most parents say they could never choose a favorite child, I think I could do that very easily!! LOL...) The tantalum bezeled watch from Monochrome is an old SIncere edition. There were 2 dials off

My only Offshore . . .

. . . and I love it. Ref 25770 (same as End of Days). I love the numeral font, slender and sexy (the opposite of me 😄). It may not look it, but the strap is the most comfy strap I've ever experienced by a long shot. Thanks for the interesting post. M4

My first was a RO 15300, followed by . . .

. . . an Offshore Safari, then a 15202, and an Offshore Rubberclad. Today, I have the very rare 25770 silver dial, which is easily my favorite of the Offshores I've owned. Along the way I gave my daughter a Lady's Offshore as a graduation gift. It's stunn
