Jaeger Lecoultre Master Chronograph Sector Dial.

As we discussed some sector dials, here is another one which is worth some interest, the Master Chronograph issued in 2017, to celebrate the Master Control 25 years. Nicely balanced, without date, and charming. This is one of these very good watches from

Watches and Wonders 2022: A review on the Jaeger Lecoultre Polaris Perpetual Calendar in Steel and in Rose Gold.

In 2018, Jaeger Lecoultre decided to widen the scope of the iconic Polaris, which since 1965 and the unveiling of the first model is, basically, a diving Memovox, re-edited in 2008. So, 4 years ago, Jaeger Lecoultre came to the SIHH in Geneva with a whole

It says…

“We had some empty space on the dial and we couldn’t just leave it like that so we decided to write ‘this watch has a jumping date’.” The next version might say in really really small text “Also it has some hands, and day and month windows, plus it’s a su

A picture I like a lot: Jaeger Lecoultre Master Chronograph Sector Dial and Pocket Watch Chronograph Rattrapante.

The kind of Jaeger Lecoultre I like a lot, a cool looking modern chronograph which has a link with the past: Here the link is obvious, on the aesthetics. The 6 / 12, the sector dial, the blue tachymeter. If only the Master Chronograph could be manual wind

This year, Jaeger Lecoultre had the good idea to revisit the Master Control collection, and started with the Date, the Calendar, the Chronograph Calendar, the Geographique and the Memovox. So, now, the Master Control watches have a new case, a redesigned

Jaeger Lecoultre new Master Control Line: Some close ups of the dials.

I posted an article on the new Master Control line, last week. today I suggest we have a closer look on the dials. I had the idea to isolate the dials and to focus on them, to show the sunburst finish and some other details. Indeed, when you look at the p

Initial observations on the new master control release

As a longtime advocate of strong journeyman watches with modern movements and timeless elegant simple design: I find the basic three hand/date master iteration decent, but wonder why the move from 39 to 40mm case? (The new case silhouette is lovely) My st

Do you like 2 sub dials chronograph configuration without date? There are two for you: Jaeger Lecoultre Master Chronograph Sector Dial and Deep Sea Chronograph Vintage.

I have to confess that I am a big fan of 2 registers Chronographs. Ok, at the price of the 12 hours Sub dial, that's true. But without date which most of the time ruins the dial. The dial symmetry and balance are top. The purity, too. Add some cool factor
