The Geneva Report 2026 (needs coffee or beer)

We started late in the evening with a schnitzel as we went up to Stockholm already then because we had an early flight. The weather was great. They serve no beer at 06:30 but at least water and chocolate. After a disastrous start with a water-damaged hote

Patrick_y's Ticket

1. Ladies': Voutilainen 28CG. I like Kari's work, what can I say? 2. Ladies' Complicated: Chopard Imperial Four Seasons. A watch with a seasons display? That's kind of interesting. 3. Time Only: Raul Pages. The Daniel Roth was so close! 4. Men's: Garrick

The Candidates are in, I can't remember the last time I've seen this many Amazing creations before. Exciting Times 😊👍. Credit to the GPHG, they highlighted pieces I didn't know about, although don't envy the Judges job, this year will be tough. I went thr

Yes and yes. I like the British matchmaking aesthetic and would love to see more artisanal watchmaking from Asia

Very happy with my Garrick. I would love to see more work like this out of the UK, right now there's a huge white space in the UK between micro brand like Fears and the super high end like RWS and Frodsham.

Thank you for this fun compilation of click springs! I'm a fan :)

One of these days I would like to own a watch with a traditional blade style click spring. The Chaykin double barrel is one I hadn't seen before, very cool, and I am a big fan of the Greubel implementation since it feels so 3d in a very 2d world. Garrick

Just received my bespoke S2 deadbeat seconds. Shoutout to David, he’s a pleasure to work with, and deep thanks and respect to Stuart, etc who used the rose-engine machine to carve this gorgeous dial and otherwise made the watch. Didn’t want an hour ring b

Thanks for sharing Gerard.

One of the most common alternative methods used today besides those mentioned, is CNC, which Comblemine provides to clients who wish to offer a more reasonable price for their finished watches. Although I have seen at least one company make a big deal abo

It was a wait of almost two years but frankly, totally worth the wait... Back in 2022, a group of us decided to commission David Brailsford, an independent English watchmaker for 8 bespoke watches, with a specific request for deadbeat seconds. David thoug
