For me 36 mm does not work with a Flieger watch. Two cramped, the hands too short.

The problem with the 40 mm version is indeed the date! I wait until one day they listen to customers… In the meantime I have my 80 anniversay STOWA Flieger… 😅

Saturday morning routine

Creature of habit....Saturday morning coffee with my Stowa Flieger LE to 90 pieces from 2017, their 90th anniversary. 40mm, no date, no logo, handwound was how I configured mine.

How do you like it?

I've been playing with the idea of adding a flieger and came across the 40mm recently which was quite charming. I still think I may end up going with a Bronze stowa and the manual wind but curious to hear your feedback about wearability and mechanical fee

That's incredible!

That is very cool...do you have once from each of the 5 manufacturers? I think Stowa did a great job in staying pretty faithful to the design, at a more wearable size. It is one of the reasons I was drawn to the Stowa and of course them being one of the o

I have 2 Stowa Fliegers

This is a 40mm Klassik hardwound. It's a LE but same dimwnsions as their 40mm Klassik in their current catalog. It wears really well on my wrist...sweet spot for me. I have also have their 41mm bronze fleiger with a 6497 Unitas...is was a LE too ...1 of 1

Lots of Stowa content lately!

which is great - as mentioned in another post really been thinking about their bronze flieger in 36 or 40. I think I can do both but I had a flieger many years ago and I do remember they wear quite large due to being almost all dial and therefore the dile
