Minerva "anniversary" Pythagore cal 48

My 38 mm x 9 mm Minerva Pythagore cal 48 "anniversary" which was made in 1999 under the Frey father and son team. Manual wind. The calibre 48 design is suppose to epitomize the Pythagorean golden ratio of proportionality and ratios. It has a cult-like fol

Old school Minerva Pythagore Aviation - the 34mm gem ⏱️✈️🇬🇷

Just a quick spontaneous shot of mine in the nude today, aka without a strap on. I still love the proportions, the use of cathedral hands and the super pleasant size on the wrist. Any other old school Minervas out there?

Ah, I see. Thanks. This is bigger

than the original cal 48 which was 10.5 lignes 23.6 mm in diameter and 3.8 mm in height. 14 lignes=31.5812 mm a 25 % increase in diameter. The case diameter of neo vintage Pythagore most often seen is 34 mm. Compared to this new diameter the 39 mm is 14.7

To me

This looks like the Pythagore small seconds that came a few years ago, except they replaced montblanc with minerva. From revolution watch

Blue hands anyone?

Minerva Pythgagore (the "perfect ratio") calibre 48 manual wind. , 💙 I believe there were about five or so of these made circa 1999. At 38 mm x 9 mm, the Bauhaus styled dial with heat blued hands on its original Minerva bracelet. Neo-vintage handwork by t

No bezel operation but love my Minerva Pythagore no less for that ⏱️⚖️🇬🇷

While I am in principle happy that the brand name is again adorning the dials of watches I am likewise happy with this from the past era. Back in the day the golden ratio principle of movement design also bore fruit in terms of overall proportioning, whic

The 34mm pilot’s watch - the Minerva Pythagore Aviation ⏱️🛩️

I would suppose not one often found on pilot’s wrists but it has the elements and is a charming version of the evergreen (well at least in the pre-Montblanc era) Pythagore line from Minerva. The patina on the hands and hour markers makes it all the more a

Minerva Pythagore calibre 48 “Blue Hands”

My 38 mm Minerva Pythagore calibre 48 manual wind on the wrist today. Rather rare watch which is made even more rare to be seen on the orginal Minerva bracelet. This neo-vintage piece was made by the Frey family father and son team circa 1999. The next ye

Haven’t done this in some days - a fresh shot of the Habring2 Felix 🇦🇹

With the move and all else going on fresh watch shots were few and far between. Most days the priority was to keep watches as far away from the proceedings as possible. A short breather today, with a minute to snap a quick wrist shot of the Habrong2 Felix
