Reference 3969 limited edition released for Pateks 150th. I don’t know why the limited editions like this one & the ones from 175th anniversary don’t get too much love

Six simple ideas for next release

1. Modify the 5236 to have an instantaneous calendar change. 2. Release a digital hour indication based 6119 as a revival of the 3969, but in round case. 3. Evolve a few models to incorporate zero-reset seconds for time setting ( when crown is pulled) 4.

is for me the watch missing from my small collection. I actually flew to Frankfurt last year to see a supposedly mint example but it had a visible scratch. Very few are for sale and ever fewer have all the original box and papers. I fell in love with this

Your 3969R is a lovely watch!

And I would have bought the one in Frankfurt if not for the scratch. The 3969R is quite different of course from the 3878J skeleton The latter is a work of art with arguably more hand finishing while the 3969R is a unique and elegant jump hour. Where the
