In his comment to my thread dedicated to the Patek Philippe/Somazzi partnership , our dear Gordon aka GLau asked me how many retailers were able to have their signature on some Patek Philippe watches . Here's my answer : A / I have identified 58 retailers

The classical version of 3998P -

I am travelling right now but will post a picture later this week. Your observation is correct, the baton dial 3998P with sigma dial (ie the first version which one would typically want to own as a collector) is not easy to find. But a true classic. And a

Emmanuel, I would be extremely interested in reading how you feel about having a 5396 on your wrist. For me, ever since the introduction in the mid 90s

PP lost their way when…

…they started making dress watches with crown horns. I owned a wonderful Ref. 5130 but sold it because I felt the crown horns were an insult to an otherwise elegant watch (well, the push button was wobbly and provided a poor impression when pressing it, i

Gordon thank you for your extremely interesting and scholarly presentation on Cubitus, including an historical perspective that makes

Cubitus seem not so surprising after all. I found it particularly illuminating how Aquanaut, Neptune, even Sculpture and now Cubitus reflect a decades long effort by Patek to create offshoots and alternatives to Nautilus. (Reminds me a bit of a decades ol
