That could actually be spectacular as a couple watch -- impossible to beat, I would say! ;-))

I'm sure JPV is the artist's signature, I should look into it -- in the past, a few Rare Handcrafts of the same 7000 line were signed by Anita Porchet's atelier (the famous 'AP'), but I believe I don't recall this signature! Cheers.

Thank you for your comments!!

Yes the 33.2mm 5959 ultra thin split second chronograph was classified as a men's watch while the 33.7mm 7000R minute repeater was classified as a ladies watch. The 7200R London Edition was 34.6mm and had been classified as a ladies watch while the 35mm 5

Hi All, here is my (partially completed) post which aims to show photos of rare handcraft wrist watches that may not appear in the video on youtube and Patek's website.

There are some amazing enamel pieces with complications that "exceed" the 5531 ! What are your thoughts ? Cheers, Gordon p.s. photos are downloaded from a post written in Chinese and distributed on the internet for the audience in China by a watch blogger

Great review Imran, thank you!

A Patek minute repeater would be my holy grail and I am not too fussy - either the 5078G or 7000R from the current collection or the 5029R or 3939 from the past. To be honest, I'd even settle for this 1904 pocket watch in mint condition! Exquisite and rar

Absolutely!

I too attended a similar Patek minute repeater workshop and the best sounding (clearest!) minute repeater was actually the 33.7mm 7000R, the simplest and smallest of all the repeaters

Absolutely Alkiro!

There are many Patek minute repeaters that I like - the 5539, the 5078, the 7000 but I just adore the 5029R due to its military watch case, Breguet hands and numerals. I have a weakness for these

My favourite watch ever!!

This week at the Philips auction in New York, all eyes will be on Paul Newman's Daytona. I noticed though that a very rare Patek Philippe will be auctioned, which for me personally, is my favourite watch of all time. That is quite a sweeping statement but

For me, when I bought

my 7200R London Edition, I knew I had to have it the minute I saw it displayed at the exhibition. I knew it would fit my wrist at 34.6mm but more importantly, it looked stunning with its Breguet hands and Breguet numerals. The price was within my budget t
