I'm glad this survey was helpful, anaroku!

Of course the 16202 has a three-part case, not two-part like the OG 5402, but I still think it's a great version of the Jumbo with an improved movement and it makes a wonderful duo with your 5711! Huge congratulations again on this acquisition! Best, Emma

Thank you so much, Tony!

You are too kind. I’m glad this post was helpful and, most importantly, I wish you the best for finding the 16202 that sings to you! I’m looking forward to seeing which one you will choose to complement your beautiful green dial 15510! Best, Emmanuel

Many thanks Emmanuel for pulling together such a comprehensive report.

My one and only AP is the second generation 15202. I purchased this in the grey market back in 2014 at list - those were the days 🤣. Apart from the green dial a few years later there hasn’t been another that I’ve coveted in the meantime. The charm of doin

Royal Oak Jumbo: an (incomplete) overview

The history of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo is so rich that exhaustivity is both exhausting and almost impossible . Therefore, I have decided to leave aside the openwork variants and the RD#3 Tourbillon . For a more complete information , please re

The scuba

There just is something about these Divers! If only they would reduce the thickness from 14,2mm to 13mm and add more dial combos again. I severely need a diver in my collection - have the khaki offshore, grey royal oak and 16202 I would have preferred to

AP could sell a million 16202s.

Alas, they hold back the production with this model, as other brands also do with certain pieces. They all play that same game, unfortunately. Still, I can only praise the timepiece itself. About perfect, IMO. But a shame many who want one can't get one.

My first visit at the AP boutique Geneva

Yesterday was a great experience. Kindly staff and wonderful timepieces! I really liked these two pieces. As I have a small wrist (6.5 inches), the 16202ST (jumbo) is perfect for me. Love it. As I really love diver watches, I was very attracted by the 157

Happy 17th of May

I acquired the 16202ST back in February however I have been way to preoccupied with work and everything else to write about my visit to the boutique. So I brought the jumbo out to celebrate 17th of May, which is the last Constitution Day of us being two i

The most strange thing is imo ...

20-30years ago EVERYBODY wants a Royal Oak OFFSHORE and preferably a limited edition and NOBODY wanted a simple Royal Oak. I remember my AD had 2- 3 ref 15202 but he could't sell them even with a 20% discount Today the OFFSHORE lost interest and everybody
