Today wearing a watch with a legendary case shape from Seiko.

The Seiko SLA049J1 with the characteristic cushion case that we know from so many generations of Seiko divers. Another 44mm Seiko that is wearing much smaller and which sits very comfortably on my wrist. Best, Gerard

Iconic Seiko diver design.

I think that the "Capt. Willard" is one of the most iconic diver designs from the 70ies ....and on par with others from Rolex,Omega BP,Doxa ,etc .... Despite the 44m case, and thanks to the short lug-to-lug, this SLA049J1 wears well on my wrist. Best, Gera

A group picture of my Seiko divers.

From L-R : Marine Master 200 SPB207J1 / Marine Master 300 SLA023J1 / "Captain Willard" SLA049J1 "Naomi Uemura edition" I like them because they have a strong character with a real pedigree ....and they are fun to wear ...without breaking the bank !! Best,
