there were waiting lists for Panerai’s. Like 000, 001Q, 292J with pig dial, every ltd edition, then came the bronze ones the 382/507…. There are few that I didn’t get at the time like 360, 605 (grey sunburst dialed 372 with Firenze inscription on the dial

Pure magic dear Nicolas! I had always loved these “error proof” dials …

Both in early Bubble back Rolex and Panerai watches. The 249 is so special indeed. Mine says hello and joins the celebration of this model and dial. Cheers! Abrazos! Abel
