Breitling introduces the Navitimer Cosmonaute Artemis II with meteorite dial

In 1962, astronaut Scott Carpenter approached Breitling with a request: a special Navitimer featuring a 24-hour dial for his orbital flight aboard the Aurora 7 spacecraft. The result became the first Swiss wristwatch in space. More than six decades later,

My Breitling Aerospace from 2000 or so didn’t have an issue with machining a relief case back 😉

I do agree that the old style case back might have added 0,1mm to the thickness but then Omega still had plenty of room to play with, as the watch in spite of its WR is anything but slender 😉 Don’t get me wrong - I understand that watch brands need to loo

I know the feeling

Of looking for screws with a flashlight on the living room floor! The breitling aerospace uses some of the smallest screws I've seen in a bracelet and is a real challenge to adjust:

My graduation present watch still going strong - the Breitling Aerospace ⏱️🛩️👨🏻‍✈️

Unlike my pilot’s license, which has expired a long time ago 🤷🏻‍♂️ I do not wear it to the office often (actually wrist time generally is limited) but it is always pleasant and has many nice memories associated with it 😊 Any other graduation watches still

Just a couple of hours till the weekend - with the Breitling Aerospace 🛩️

The weekend will be without flying, unless I overdo it on the coffee and jump to warp myself (in the words of Captain Janeway). The watch does not get that much airtime these days but as my graduation gift it always has a special place in my heart. And I

Amazing, what a fun place that is. I had that exact Seiko TV watch kit. Left work on my 30min dinner break and bought it at Sears after seeing they had 25% off on Seikos. Later traded it

for my early Breitling Aerospace with my local watchmaker (who works on PPs and APs yet loves everything Seiko). Just looked up value on a perfect example with everythig, looks like he won on that trade! lol! Oh, well I still love that Aerospace! Thanks f

I really need to get an Alpinist at some point!

Yours look great, amazing dial work for the price, and the simplified dial (without the extra crown and inner dial looks good). One day maybe? Good luck with the career climbing I'm wearing my Breitling Aerospace, does that make me a high flyer? Best, Eti

Haven’t worn this one for a while - the Breitling Aerospace 🛩️

My graduation present, the watch will always have a special place in the collection. It’s one of the last generation of reasonably sized Breitling, before the mimicking of Panerai’s size range became all the rage at Breitling. Wishing you a great Sunday 👋

That is good education

Interesting Omega’s the PAF ordered a longtime ago. Anti magnetic watches at their first heirloom. The last days i went into military watches ww2 and Breitling Pluton Navitimers and Breitling Aerospace for the Iraq air force. I know Breitling did for the
