I felt they were doing a lot right recently

Where as I have zero interest in TAG Heuer or Hublot, Zenith felt like watch peoples watches, where perhaps the aforementioned brands are much more visible in the mainstream, F1, Soccer etc., I'm sure they'll figure it out, perhaps lose the super high com

Richard Mille: Technical Brilliance and the Birth of a Billionaire’s Watch Myth

Introduction Richard Mille, founded in 2001, has redefined modern haute horlogerie. The brand’s slogan— “A racing machine on the wrist” —is no empty tagline; it reflects Mille’s obsession with merging cutting-edge engineering, avant-garde materials, and m

Business Case Study in real time

I am keeping a very close eye on this. The moving parts I see here (no pun intended) is TAG Heuer's move to take over F1 sponsorship. They are an LVMH company, a group that has consistently taken moribund or at least boring brands, and given them a very s

I hope I don't sound too cynical

Just finished watching the video and it's clear to me that Revolution is stepping up its game, outdoing Hodinkee in both content and limited editions. I'm a fan of Wei, but can't shake off the feeling that these videos are also subtly playing into justify

Thanks for sharing this gem with the forum, Lavrentivs -- very happy that my favorite "Patek Auction Correspondent" is back! :-) As usual, an insightful photoreport on a marvelous piece, which only a few collectors will have a chance to see in person!

What possibly makes this highly exclusive Ref. 5531 even more interesting is that the piece you handled (-010) is one of the two "original" 5531R iterations, produced as a limited run of five pieces each on the occasion of the 2017 NYC Exhibit. The other
