Thanks for posting these beauties!

Of the three, I'm partial to the 7225, mostly because of the mechanics, which I feel are housed better here than in the previous Classique 7727. I'm not so sure about the new cases, but what really makes me smile are engraved plates and bridges on the 722

Just picked up my 3rd Breguet, a Classique Musicale 7800 - Bach version

For those keeping score, I now have a Tradition Tourbillon 7047, a Classique Hora Mundi 5717, and now a Classique Musicale 7800. There's one more Breguet (the Classique Chronometrie 7727) on my list before I feel my collection is complete, but I'm feeling

Wishlist for the remaining Breguet 250th anniversary novelties?

Breguet has been dropping a new release about once a month to celebrate the 250th anniversary. Assuming they stop at the end of the year, I'd say we have about 5 more coming? So far they've released the Classique Soubscription, the Tradition Retrograde Se

Good food for thought...

Modern Breguet demonstrates the collective genius of Swatch's advanced R & D. I have much appreciation for the modern 7727 and twin tourbillons. Breguet is perhaps the greatest watchmaker who ever lived, and it was helpful when the brand was a passion pro

I appreciate your sharing the experience, just as others have.

It's quite, quite different, but the 10hz Breguet 7727 with magnetic pivots has been a favorite in my collection for a while. I hear they would like to put the movement in other watches. However, with 4 CEOs in a handful of years, maybe they need some sta

I didn’t mean to suggest otherwise

I don’t have any experience with the 7727 and haven’t heard about its reliability one way or another. I just find it curious that they did all this innovative work with magnets and we haven’t really heard anything in 7 years. My hope is we do see/hear mor

The 7727 to my knowledge works without issues.

Beautiful on the front, and ingenious from chronometric point of view. I would have probably bought it if the finishing on the back was not so sloppy. I knew someone who pre ordered the 7087 ... So I guess there was pre allocation to dealers and the cance

Magnets?

I wonder if their ambition with magnets didn’t play out as well as they would’ve liked. We’ve only seen one production watch with significant magnetic components (7727). Granted, it’s been 7 years, which is probably not long enough to design multiple move
