The Santos de Cartier takes well to colored dials, I think. I enjoy the green, myself. Even if the large size has a date window, Cartier had the good sense to match the dial color.
I find myself increasingly eschewing dive watches, chronographs, and other complications that generally take up more wrist space for something simpler and compact like these two. Maybe age has something to do with it. Thanks for viewing.
I think the dial is on this Santos is amazing. After looking at it since it first came out, I finally purchased it in September, and absolutely love it.
2020. It's not just the looks but the fit as well. Its flatness allows it to sit perfectly balanced on the wrist. Much like the Polaris Automatic and Roma Octo. Just as inportant: Santos de Cartier, Polaris Automatic and Roma Octo are... obtainable!
