Thank you my friend..

I think your summary of thoughts echo mine as well. Something about the case design that I find so appealing. Of course, one can wish for other hypothetical add ons ie applied hour markers/applied breguet numerals...but its time I get something that doesn

Dear Rishi, with the clear briefing that you mentioned i.e…

Hobnail bezel, no date, crown guards, smaller size Roman numerals… I believe no other ref ticks all boxes apart from 5115 😉 On top of that I believe the caliber 215PS fits better in the 5115 than in 5116 as the seconds subdial looks better balanced on the

Dear Rishi,

I have been looking closely at the three references 5115, 5116 and 5119. While each has its charm, I wonder if I don’t prefer the 5116: I think the welded lugs would work better for me here than the case shape of 5115 with “integrated” lugs and crown guar

Thank you Emmanuel...

I have a strong feeling, the 5196 will look like a pie pan on my wrist. I just worry about the extra small dial of the 3796 although I think its gorgeous . I will likely post another topic....to get opinions of the 5115 vs 3796. That's where my mind is go

You're absolutely right!

So I thought about this...35mm, that i know will be the good sweet spot. I have always had an eye for the 5115, partly also because I don't want something too old, plus I want an element of craft which can be seen with the bezel plus the enamel dial. Rish

2016 Patek Philippe Articles recap... and 2017 ahead

Dear Purists, 2016 has ended and, like I did last year, I thought it could be useful (and, why not, interesting) to make a list of some of the threads that were posted in this section this year whether you missed them or maybe would like to have a look at
