The more I think about the 50th Nautilus release the less I like it for a number of reasons ...

1) I certainly do not want the cheap and awful looking engraved rotor and even less so on a 100k watch. Ruins the beautiful 240 movement in my eyes. 2) No date and no seconds looks great but the date on the 5711 has never bothered me and I use it a lot. 3

Dear Patekova

I understand your feelings, but this decision to unveil the 50th Anniversary Nautilus models alongside the other new Watches & Wonders 2026 releases seems consistent with the stated intention, for several years now, to ensure that the Nautilus remains jus

This is great info.

The one I’m looking at is the Geneva seal 324 movement. As for dials, I kind of like the idea of the grey/blue of this generation. However, I’ve never seen a 5711 of any type in person, so that could change once I see one. I should probably watch more vid

I don’t think so.

However, who knows. I have ADD with watches. I also rarely sell them, so my collection has grown out of control. I’m about to start selling off pieces I never thought I’d sell because my tastes have changed. With that said, the 5711 is timeless. My plan i

Guidance on a 5711 purchase

I’ve been wanting to add a 5711 to my collection for quite some time, specifically the transitional -001 reference with Geneva seal. I just had a big milestone with my business so I’m thinking of adding one now. I found one for sale through a dealer I’ve

For me personally, the following three stand out:

1. 6105G-001: It dares to present a design they never did before. The Richard Mille for intellectuals, if you will... 2. 5810/1G-001: The 41mm size and the 240 microrotor movement makes this very compelling to me and I would love to own one (if that happe

Very nice! That's a really nice photograph!

The 330 caliber really did improve upon the 315 and 324 calibers with that all-important hacking seconds! I'm a little sad that my 240-caliber 5712 doesn't hack! Your wrist looks wonderful with the 5711! I'm glad you were able to get it just in time!

What a great story Patrick…

This 5711 and the 5712 are my favourite Nautilus. Photo was taken when I was back in Singapore as I kept all my watches there. Remembered bugging and having waited many years for the AD to finally come through with the piano dial that I had asked for. Unb

I'll give you 5 reasons ... but could give you 10 aswel

1/ When I look at today’s models compared to those from 20 years ago, they’re simply less to my taste. Just to name one thing: I find the Pilot line unattractive. There’s also often too much “bling” for my liking. 2/ The fact that they discontinued the Ge
