I was quite surprised when Patek included these 50th Anniversary Nautilus watches as part of its 2026 W&W presentation. I think this was a mistake and a lost opportunity.

IMO these historically important watches have received a somewhat diminished response compared to the the reception they would have received as an exclusive release at a different time of year. Partly responsible for this reaction I believe is the creativ

As I mentioned in your 1st post...

...this 5531 G Planisphere WT MR definitely won my heart, it is just wonderful in every aspect! The jellyfish dome table clock unique piece would complete this wonderful 5531 G perfectly if I had no financial limitations

Thank you WOS at the Wynn for showing me these beautiful patek models.

I didn’t expect the green on the 5270P to leave such an impression on me. It may be one of the most beautiful dials I’ve ever seen. The cubitus fit better than I expected. Def growing on me. The great 5164... Love the RG and brown. I’ve loved the 5070 for

Please stop making me go back and look at your 5270G-001 photo attachment...

I seem to be unable to stop! The way you captured the circular ribbing (?) on the sub dials and the visually interesting light to dark grey contrasting throughout... Best, Robert

I like the blue 5236 also.

It a grind has one and it’s difficult to tell time on it. I like the salmon also but this gray is brushed similar to the blue. The gray 5270p is my runner up but would be too much of a stretch 💲wise. 5236 should be at least 30-40% off on secondary soon en

My favorite Patek release from W&W is this gorgeous 5236P.

I can’t wait to see this dial in person. And the 31-260 movement is just 🔥🔥🔥. What is your favorite PP 2026 release? Photos downloaded directly from the patek website. www.patek.com

It's so funny that one of my first "what watch is that?" moments was watching the TV series "Suits" in 2011

Harvey Spector (main character) was a hot-shot, very well attired, bold lawyer who never lost a case. In a couple early episodes he wore a Patek 5004P (later determined to be a replica but that didn't matter) and my lizard brain reaction was to franticall

New variations gorgeous - I'd still choose the original 5270G without hesitation

All the colors of the rainbow, gem set, bedazzled, etc. The 5270 choices are dizzying. IMO the original reigns as the best looking and most chameleon like with it's vertical brushing and subtle contrast sub dials. Best, Robert

For me the most aesthetically and technically exciting are the 5249R automaton, the blue and red lacquered dials 5270P and the new 5204G (love the blue/red).

The ultra thin Nautilus with iconic 240 movement and no date or second hand is quite interesting, but this is a “limited” (?) edition of 5,000 pieces….. yes, 5,000! Was hoping for a steel version…. Oh well. Need to see these Nautili in the metal and on my

Brilliant nautilus 50 anniversary choice.

Understated (yes it’s gold and platinum I know) and design that’s vintage inspired. Ultimate IYKYK modern nautilus. But for me the gray 5236P and 5270P stole the show. I can’t wait to see those dial colors in person. I know many hate the cubitus but I’ll
