Thank you for the presentation, Gordon!

The absolute star of the show, for me, is the 5249R-001. The two green Ellipse look quite nice and also maybe the Annual Calendar. Apart from these pieces, nothing gets me really excited right now, but it's too early to really know how we feel, isn't it?

Agreed. 7200 has always been a good looking watch!

The 7200 is the only "classic" piece that isn't overdone. That minute repeater with the blue and orange dial is a tad bit overdone; and I never liked the 6007 dial upon which the new minute repeater is based on; I always said that if the 6007 didn't have

Thank you for posting!!

Ellipse(s) Patek Phillipe 3848 & 4226

I actually got my wife’s ellipse first for her birthday and then couldn’t resist for myself. Due to wrist size she can steal mine from time to time but I can’t unfortunately! It might be a bit gimmicky but we love wearing them together

Cartier “Fabergé”

The Cartier ref. 78101 is nicknamed “ Fabergé ” because, when Cartier launched the Louis Cartier Collection in 1973 , the maison assigned evocative names to several of the 12 different models (Ceinture, Gondole, Cristallor, etc.). For this particular refe

Thank you so much for your kind words.

Or course, I like the curved marquis, as you rightly expected I would ;-) And if I could, I'd love to see both a 3598 and a 3798 in person! The fact that both ref. are manual-winding versions of the Ellipse is very much to my taste. Best, Emmanuel

A most unexpected Patek Philippe dial

Have you ever seen this dial before ? For me, it's a complete and unexpected discovery . Patek Philippe describes it as “ Sunburst brown external dial, Tuscany center, applied yellow gold hour indexes ”. And, surprisingly , this dressy dial with an elabor
