Panerai definitely did a great job with the PAM 5218. In my opinion, it is one of the most thrilling watch they made for these 15 last years, along with the 372, the 587, the 662 and some other impossible to find, such as the 1346 Guido Panerai & Figlio,
Added these four to my collection - my wrist is only 7” but if one is wearing a military/sporty brand, larger and more legible is, at least for me, preferable! 368 587 662 (black specs are camera error - dial is perfect - bought this one new in box) 687
My wrist is only 6.8" so these watches (673, 587, 249) look almost cartoonishly large, unless I'm in my submersible barreling underwater toward an enemy ship. But, oddly enough, they're comfortable ... and so beautiful that I don't have the heart to sell
