First Vintage Patek!

I\'ve been hunting for my first vintage Patek for some time, particularly a time-only and over-sized Calatrava from the 40s or 50s with a seconds subdial. With the help of a private collector, I just landed this gorgeous 35mm Ref. 2452 from the early 50s

A friend of mine took a nice photo of the 96A. Despite its small size, it seems to be getting a lot of attention these days

The Roman numerals and spade hands on the compact white dial give it a strong presence.

I apologize in advance for the gratuitous wrist shots

I suspect it’s going to be a long honeymoon. Thanks for looking my friends, all the best and wishing you all a great start to your week Tony.

For my 5000th post/comment, I want to share the watch that started the journey for me - Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600.

I’ve loved this watch for 24 years and hope to love it for 24 more.

Happy Sunday my friends!

I seem to be finding excuses to strap on the first gen Parmigiani Toric Chronograph. I’m mesmerized by the beauty of the dial set inside the double knurled bezel 🤩. Have a nice day. M4

I traded into this

I must say, the aesthetics and symmetry have captivated me. I had it in ss a while back, but the rose gold with that dial really work
