A good surprise

I'm not very much into Rolex, but I've always liked the design of the Oysterquartz case and the ref. 1530 & 1630 (Oysterquartz case with a mechanical movement), so I wanted to see the Land-Dweller in the metal. I asked to try on the 36 mm ref. 127234 in oystersteel & white gold ("White Rolesor",

A midsummer trip with 5065a in the scorching heat of Japan

The hotel lobby is cool and comfortable... We need to drink plenty of fluids. Encouraged by Dodgers’ Ohtani The flight back was a small one. The 5065 is a versatile tool that can be used for any purpose, no matter where I take it although this CA does not know this fact.

Does anyone have any contacts at the JLC service department in Switzerland?

I dropped off my JLC Extreme Lab 2 80 days ago and the local boutique (not AD but boutique) can’t provide me with any updates. I haven’t even got the repair quote! Thanks in advance.

I'm wondering if there's a database or other source for Cartier info.

General info is available by reading articles at Fratello, Hodinkee and the many others. George Cramer is another source I've found and I feel like I should get his book. But I'm also looking for slightly more specific info regarding Pasha in general and Pasha GMT Meridian 2377 in particular. I can'
