One I would love to add to my GS collection. I only saw it come up for sale once in the last 20 years and the price was somewhere in the region of unaffordium

Also for this kind of money, I am disappointed with a rather simple and spartan interior.

I am not too familiar with this piece. Is it a manufacturer movement and is the movement shaped?

A cursory google search brings up just the new versions with thinner bezels. The old ones in ruthenium dial don’t come up. But again I don’t want to look too hard 😎

but I have a big concern about servicing and repairing such a watch, since the watchmaker has passed away.

I placed a moratorium on any more watch purchases for the foreseeable future, but if this version comes up for sale, I may not be able to resist.
