Audemars Piguet: 15 years in the making

10 years to be able to afford it, 5 years to convince AP to sell me one. Today is a very special day as I collected my new 16202 Jumbo. The Royal Oak Jumbo has always been my dream watch since I started drooling over the 15202 pictures on thepurists.com back in 2005 ( was a student at that time,

Automotive: Congratulations !

Sounds like an amazing car! I just hope that they changed the gear box ratio a bit. I enjoy driving my 992 C2S manual (my daily) but the gear box ratio is really frustrating=> 2nd gear goes all the way to 120km/h, on a mountain road it’s almost 1st and 2nd only if you want to rev it, the manual shif

Horological Meandering: Yes and yes

Ghost on the Safari strap. And those mushrooms are 100% real, I did not tweak the color. But that’s as close as you want to be from them, they’re quite toxic

Horological Meandering: AP hornback alligator, not ostrich

It’s the strap from the ROO Safari, and best “non metal” for an Offshore in my opinion

Horological Meandering: A pilgrimage to Le Brassus

Dear all, Sharing some pics of a fantastic WE. I turned 40 on Saturday and as my wife’s gift for this special occasion is a fantastic ROO 42mm we took the kids to a short road trip to Le Brassus, birthplace of AP. We stayed in l’Hotel Des Horlogers (owned by AP and located next to the museum)… what
