This is a 5059 from the early 2000s. I have seen quite a bit of similar discussions about the 315 movement in both 5056 and I believe aquanauts having this issue.
Either way, I’m sending it off to Patek to get repaired/serviced. Frustrating, but I’ve seen discussions of this issue with 315 and 324 movements. I have a Patek with a 240 and it seems much more solid compared to the 315/324.
