Patek Philippe: Depends if you are talking 5970p Salmon or 5970g Salmon.

The EC 5970p salmon with Sand blasted breguet numerals and hands is unique and the 5970g Salmon as mine from the London Saatchi exhibition is under 5. As you may expect I prefer my 5970g version with the perfectly balanced dial as the original with white Chrono hand 5970 but the EC 5970p Salmon dial

And after looking at your wrist shots and the size of your wrist and existing watches I would buy a 5970r and keep one or 2 of your collection. This would make far more sense to me. M.

There is no watch in the world that would make me sell all my watches. There is no such thing as a grail in my mind as they are all grails at a point in time. This is what makes us collectors and why we need more watches. And for me it would certainly not be a all metal bracelet Patek that I couldn’

Rolex: I do also love the original BB.

But the 58 is spot on apart from the adjustment in the clasp which is a little annoying. My BB’s sit among my watches in my collection and hold their own and certainly get reached for before others which some call grails so I rest my case. Enjoy your BB58. M.
