Horological Meandering: There is absolutely no need for such large boxes

Everyone really should think about the environment and future. Those expensive wooden boxes are completely unnecessary. A small pouch (leather perhaps) should be sufficient.

Officine Panerai: Definitely a boo boo by Panerai

Sadly, I have only bad memories of my only Panerai which I let go a few years ago; poor servicing was the problem then. You should request a new dial, free of charge.

Patek Philippe: The blackened gold hands and indices on the white dial provide an excellent legibility

The complication is very useful. I like this watch a lot.

Glashutte Original: So it is possible to have snow and the roads be clear...

In Britain 2 cm of snow virtually shuts down the country, and it happens every year.

Independents: FPJ

Nicely balanced dial, a useful readable date and a long power reserve. No contest here in my opinion.

Patek Philippe: Any black dial watch without lumes or white indices/hands is hard to read, regardless of the brand

Don’t believe if anybody tells you anything otherwise. I have tried several black dials with gold indices/ hands from several brands and they are all difficult to read the time. Best is to try for yourself.
