Horological Meandering: This is hypothetical only

Because I can never have one watch only! 😂 I’m thinking very hard. Truth is I like to be active, and so I want a watch that sorta fits that description. I am tempted to say the Patek 5960 ref. Reason is that the chrono function is a sporty complication...timing things is pretty akin to be always on

Horological Meandering: No idea I just ignore it.

F.P. Journe: Agree :-)

However I’ve experienced on occasion that there are some watches that I buy with little feeling... and then I burn for her 100% after owning her. Such is the case for my Saxonia AC.

F.P. Journe: I think you have to define your collecting philosophy

Most people start by buying what they like. That’s an important starting point, but soon you will realize it isn’t enough, and hence that’s where you’ll make mistakes. As one journeys through his or her collecting years, you will start thinking of history, culture, design, heritage, innovation etc.
