A. Lange & Söhne: A history question

Some of the deck watches have ALS on the face, most don't. Does anyone know the context of the difference? Thanks

A. Lange & Söhne: Thank you for the news..

Craig, thanks for the news and the update. ALS is a unique company that attracts both unique employees as well as unique, devoted customers (that become more devoted, based on stories such as this. Can't imagine doing business with anyone else. Doug Grey

A. Lange & Söhne: Fantastic, Ken - it's like we were there....

Wonderful post and story. With sound, it would be an Indie entrant. Thanks Ken for including us in this event.

A. Lange & Söhne: Consistent with the production numbers

According to the production of old pocket watches, serial numbers 72361 to 80000, were produced between 1913 and 1921. Yours being in this range, seems consistent with that date of sale. Congratulations. Doug

Collectors Market: comment

Hello, I have a Anniversary purchased from an AD with Box and papers. Had Herr Lange sign the warranty when they opened up the AD in SF. My price is 27K though, which is more than your offer. I paid about 26K for it then. It not interested, I will keep it. Thanks in advance. Doug Grey
