Patek Philippe:
I’ve seen a lot of suede straps on various social media sites and I wasn’t quite sure but recently decided to try one - dark brown on my PP 2526R. I think it works. Way more casual feel.

I don’t know…I prefer the DD in the original 36mm size, in Platinum with the smooth bezel.

Patek 2526R
I posted over the weekend a picture of a vintage Patek 2526R. It’s such a special reference for me but I did an injustice to the watch by posting a not-so-great photo. Hopefully this one redeems both the watch (and me). LOL.

Hi Henry. Thank you. It is a journey isn’t it..? Yes, that 5050….I maybe let that go too soon. I still think about one.

The 2526. Just something so about this Reference. The history of the automated movement inside (Patek’s first), the creamy enamel dial, the case and dial design, the big screw back case. I could on. It’s a bit of a love affair.
It is the Reference that launched me into all the other Pateks.
