This is just a first spontanous response, as I have already read your post twice, and will
re-read it soon, I am sure..
1/ Many of us here have been hoping very much for a TT Geophysic, several had
and will have reservations, a la " Why tamper with one of THE icons of JLC history ? "
For me, I am indeed happy about the sensitivity, which has been exercised
for this project and on a very personal level, most if not all points are so well done:
2/
- a great size , not too big, not too small
- as I'm a ss fan, the crosshair dial is a very noble solution, which softens a bit the tool
component, in an elegant way and sort of elevates the versatility of the watch..
- like a lot the dial, with the sword hands and the luminous dots on the inside
of the saphire glass;only little thing I am wondered: is the coloring
of the lumed hands the same for the ss and the Platinum version ?
- Am asking this, as on some of the pics, the Platinum's color on the hands looks a bit
more intense, more orange vs more yellow on the ss one (??)
Or is it just an effect on the images, either farther away from the lens,
or maybe the (day) light influence in the pic ?
- The movement decision is very understandable ; although going manual was not
really possible, I trust that that automatic movement will do a very good job
3/ Thus, my first response :
For the moment now, I am indeed very happy and also content,
- no, not only content, but captivated and joyous as well
Can only say, on a humble personal level, this will be a must to see, to feel
and -- yes, to get, as well..
- For me the ss with Crosshair, please !
Thank you very much for this report, the pics and the announcement, great !!
- I guess , I might come back with some more thoughts, later,
but first I am going to enjoy this new and exciting offer from LGM !
My little two cents &
Best, hs
PS: I know it is early, but anything known about the prize range ?
PPS: Thanks a lot and Chapeau , also to the skilled & so motivated
development team - to find this good a balance, as here, also is an art.. !
