But what makes me laugh is to see Vacheron, since you quoted that brand, using an automatic movement for their Chronometre Royal, you know, this close JLC Geophysic cousin which housed the same manual movement, without anybody ( or almost ) being shocked about that " detail ".
I for one would have been ok to pay the double for a Tribute with a manual movement. I think we would be what... 30 or 40 to be ready to pay the same amount of money?
But I agree with you, economical reasons have nothing to do with Watch lovers' heart and passion.
I think the TT Geo is a cool Watch, while it could be an uber Watch, with a manual movement.
