A time waited for so long has come

Hi Nicolas,
Tonight marks the end of several years of discussion. And the beginning of many others...
I'm quite happy with the outcome, as I see it as a very well balanced compromise between the ideal Tribute to Geophysique (but probably unsoldable, and anyway unreachable for me) and well, you know what...
I would have prefered a manual wind calibre, but I already have a manual wind Geophysique, and that was the most unreachable feature.
Out of that I really approve all other aspects (still have to see the final version live though). The case size is nice, large enough to be modern, but not excessive like too many modern watches. The volumes are a tribute. I finally like the cross hair dial, especially on the wrist. I find it less empty than the traditionnal dial on the larger modern version. The platinum will still be a marvel , but it's not for me anyway.
I'm sure it will be a very pleasing watch to wear everyday, needing less care than the now "untouchable" original goddess. It will still be a discreet watch, reserved for people who will appreciate it for what it is, not what it shows. It may be a sin from myself, but I also this watch as a tribute to JLC's somewhat understated collectors.
And finally I would end writing that this Tribute to Geophysique is the shared child of men and women who have really taken great care of the history of their company. Kudos to them and to the godfather who has left since.
Best
