Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa....

i am the culprit that posted this JLC Boutique Experience - Edited as per forum rules. Not the Original poster's fault, to say all. I was not aware of the embargo ( SIHH was in january ) and i will never knowingly break forum rules.
After reading Joe ( 4Js ) thread about JLC 's official website loaded with these embargoed watches, it looks like a rather relaxed and lackadaisical approach if an embargo is taken seriously by JLC. It may be a case of the sales team and the marketing team not in congruence .
I am also bit sceptical now about how serious is an embargo . Is it the marketing department that wants the embargo whilst the sales team wants " controlled " leaks to drum up interest and buyer frenzy ?.
Certainly from my point of view, if the embargo is serious, why then would Beverly Hills JLC boutique allow Joe ( i am happy for you ) to place an order and even allow him to choose the edition number ? If these embargo rules are serious , Beverly Hills JLC Boutique would feint surprise and denials and not accept an oder on an embargoed watch.
Nico's integrity is not in doubt or Puristspro . I am just sceptical about Brands embargoes in general after my experience and Joes ( 4Js ) revelation.
As to the watches , they are not as compelling as JLC's other tributes .
A superb writeup as usual Nico .
Just my 2 cents
Cheers,dreamer
