The CR started as a Pocket Watch, didn't it?
The movement was manual, as well as the movement housed in the contemporary Geophysic, wasn't it?
The movement of the VC and of the JLC was the same, better finished ( which was ont tough ,as the JLC was not finished, or almost ), wans't it?
The movement in the crab lugs CR was the same than the one in the 24 000, so the Cal 906: Automatic.
The movement of the Tribute is auto, but now I have the information I was waiting for, it is way Under the COSC specs ( -1 / +4 secs per day for the Cal 898 / 1 ).
The Tribute, as the original is amagnetic, resistant to 600 Gauss. ( internal case in soft iron, and soft iron dial ).
That being said, yes, like any Geophysic Lover, I would have preferred to see a manual movement, for a better coherence, since it is a Tribute.
Best, my friend, and thanks for your input.
