Thanks for sharing. For me there is a big difference between impressive and beautiful watches. For me, and possibly for me only, these two belong to the former category.

Independents: I think it is good to keep that information secret. It is good that these wonderful pieces keep some of their secrets. I can assure you that it is a very rare caliber, not as rare as a cal. 30GD but very rare none-the-less.

And its production number is only known by a handful of passionate collectors of Observatory chronometers. As far as the numbers of Kari's chronometer 27. Do not trust information posted on the net. Not even specialised sellers... I hope you will enjoy your newly acquired beautiful chronometer 27.

Thank you for sharing glimpses of your journey in commissioning a bespoke GMT 6 from Kari. You said it yourself, do not make decisions by going into too much details. Do not make decisions based on options. Imho commissioning a watch from a watchmaker like Kari should not be a trip from you to yours

Not a bad watch, but nothing revolutionary- it works like a monopusher. As everyone knows PP had already that kind of "complication" in the 1940's. It would be a bit more of a feat if the chronograph had a chronograph hour counter that also would have to be set to zero or, even better, a flyback mec
