Patek Philippe

Brand boutique doesn't mean they have to forward the watch to Patek Philippe Service Center for free.

 

Let's say I'm a new Patek Philippe boutique in an expat-filled city; am I really expected to eat the cost for shipping hundreds of watches a year - especially if none of these watches were sold by my boutique?  That's not scalable.  The original poster also didn't mention if he was the original owner nor did he mention if he was a client at the Miami boutique.  Also, a boutique is not the same as a Patek Philippe Service Center.  If he bought the watch from a Patek Philippe franchisee NYC and sent it in through a Patek Philippe franchisee in Miami (the boutique is still a franchisee), why wouldn't he be charged?  The boutique is supposed to eat the cost of the shipping?
